The data center of the future is going to look very different from the one many organizations operate today.

As AI adoption accelerates, business leaders will need to manage an increasingly complex mix of traditional IT workloads, AI workloads and growing numbers of autonomous agents, while also confronting very real constraints around energy, cooling, performance and cost.

This means infrastructure decisions need to look beyond what organizations require today and consider what their computing environment could look like three, five or even ten years from now.

I recently spoke with Alexander Troshin from AMD about how leaders should be thinking about this transition, and the role performance, scalability and energy efficiency will play in building AI-ready infrastructure.
