By implementing 100% satellite monitoring coverage of our global palm oil supply chains we've accelerated our commitment to 'no deforestation' by 2020.

In this video, Benjamin Ware Nestlé's Head of Responsible Sourcing, explains how we use Starling, a satellite-and radar-based system developed by Airbus Defence and Space, to monitor deforestation risk in our global palm oil supply chain.  Deforestation is a serious and complex issue and addressing it requires the entire industry working together towards greater transparency, inclusiveness, direct supply chain engagement, and capacity building throughout the supply chain.
