At Nestlé we steward water resources. We will lead the regeneration of the water cycle to help create a positive water impact by 2025. What is a positive water impact? It’s when we help make more water available within the watershed than we use annually. We will do this through projects that contribute to improving the local environment’s ability to retain water.
This project is part of a regional watershed plan to help improve the river stream flow and hydraulic capacity. The impact is critical: a reduction of riverbed erosion and improved aquatic habitats for the natural life. This project will be finalized during 2021 to reach good ecological status by 2027. Watch to see the efforts in action on the river!
