Not what you aspire to be — but how you actually read, choose books, and move through a reading life. In this video, I break readers down into a small number of recognizable types and talk about what each one gets right, what each one struggles with, and how knowing your type can change how you read.
This isn’t a quiz and it’s not a judgment. It’s a way of seeing yourself more clearly as a reader — and maybe understanding why certain books, habits, or goals have never quite fit. Most readers recognize themselves immediately… and then realize they’ve been fighting their nature instead of working with it.
