**What if one of the biggest things doctors are taught about chronic disease is wrong?**
In medical school, I was taught that chronic diseases were just that—**chronic**. We learned how to diagnose them, prescribe medications, manage complications, and slow progression. What we were *not* taught was that many people can dramatically improve their health, and in some cases achieve remission or disease reversal, through intensive lifestyle and nutrition changes.
After reversing my own lupus over 20 years ago with hyper-nourishing nutrition, I realized there was another possibility. Since then, I've had the privilege of helping thousands of people around the world improve their health, and I've published peer-reviewed research demonstrating reversal of lupus nephritis, as well as reversal of symptoms in lupus and Sjögren's syndrome using a whole food, raw plant-based nutrition protocol.
In this video, I share why medicine often views chronic disease the way it does, and I show real examples of people who have experienced remarkable improvements, including:
• Glaucoma
• HPV
• Lung fibrosis
• Autoimmune diseases
• And other chronic health conditions
Do I believe every person with every disease can be helped? No. There are conditions that remain beyond our current ability to reverse, and not every individual will have the same outcome.
But after decades of working with people facing chronic illness, I believe there is **far more hope than most patients are ever told.**
What I wish every doctor could tell their patients is this:
**There is hope. There are things you can do to improve your health. Your lifestyle, especially your nutrition, can have a profound impact on how you feel, how your body functions, and in many cases, the course of your disease.**
My goal isn't to replace medical care—it's to help people discover that they are not powerless. Even when a cure isn't possible, there is often tremendous potential to improve quality of life, reduce inflammation, regain function, and sometimes even achieve outcomes that once seemed impossible.
