Pixar's Elemental resonated with me, not because it was my story, but because it was a story that helped me understand some of the people I know and love. I saw the world through their eyes and it brought me so much joy. Elemental is a wonderfully creative, personal film, especially for it's writer and director, Peter Sohn, who is a first generation American, a child of immigrants.
