in which alexandra writes a song about a solar eclipse (or is it about an otp from a manga WHO KNOWS) in order to avoid burning her eyes out by looking at said solar eclipse
yesterday there was a solar eclipse that was partially visible between 1-3pm where i lived, and i didn't have any solar eclipse glasses so i was slightly worried that i would be tortured by curiosity and glance at the sun THUS PERMANENTLY DAMAGING MY EYES (look it up, it's more dangerous to look directly at an eclipse even for a short period of time than it is to look at the sun on a normal day). so instead, i wrote this lil ditty and recorded my early afternoon! i had leftover cake because it was my birthday on the 20th! i'm 24 now!
also, today is the anniversary of that time i ranted about the ending of bleach for 14 minutes and somehow got 14k views. it seems relevant that an eclipse would happen so close to that time...considering the imagery in the series regarding one character being referred to as "black sun" and one as "white moon"...
lol i totally didn't rip off the concept of iconic ichiruki song "when the day met the night" by panic! at the disco hahaha is this a subtle otp song or just about a natural phenomenon who knows
