in which alexandra sings a christmas cover
so i swear i am still going to put out my star wars review vid, for anyone who saw me post that I was doing that, but i am still editing it like a Fool and i really wanted to do a christmas Thing
fun fact: i recorded the vocals at an overnight shift at my job in an echoey room on my fifteen minute break while nervously listening to hear if the cleaning staff were outside the room and could hear me, so not the best i could have sung it, but better than nothing! i actually got sick a couple days after this, so i couldn't have waited to record it either.
another fun fact: i recorded nat king cole's "the christmas song" as well and made my friends blind choose which one to make into a video without even having them listen to the recordings. did they choose correctly? who knows
a third fun fact: i recorded the video part and edited this really fast and haphazardly in the same night before i had to leave to travel home for christmas because i couldn't bring my desktop and thus imovie home with me. i prioritized this over packing to go home, so ultimately i was left with 1 hr of sleep before work once i was done everything YAY
and i wish i could say i've improved so much at piano that i did the music for this, but no. no i have not. to date, the only thing i have played on my keyboard that was not a bad ditty i made is "sign of the times"
