2025 - now I am eating 5,000-6,500 kcal a day and still not gaining weight - I basically drink 4 boost high calorie shakes per day -- 530 kcal each) plus breakfast, lunch, dinner or do 1-3 pints of ice cream (800-1200kcal each) instead of boost. I can't eat 5,000-6500 kcal a day in solid foods so liquids help reach those goals.
people have been concerned about how much i eat post chemo and radiation. Its ridiculous. You see, during chemo and radiation in fall 2020, i lost around 55 lbs. I've been trying to gain it back since, literally started lifting weights a month after chemo and radiation stopped. I've always done the calories in calories out method of bulking, cutting, maintaining and it worked well before i got cancer but now it defies science. I am a very active person and generally burn around 3,000 calories per day but I've been eating 3,000 to 5,000 kcal per day every day for over 3 years. I haven't gained anything. Instead my body weight floats up or down about 7 lbs and makes that trip 3 or 4 times a year like I am on a slow roller coaster. It never goes above a peak weight and never goes below a minimal weight no matter how much i eat. Even crazier, i will lose weight when I have multiple weeks of 7000 calories in excess, meaning i should have gained about 2lbs per week. Anyone have any ideas?
