I cook a LOT. I'm constantly experimenting with recipes and creating recipes from ideas and this bread recipe comes from wanting a sandwich bread I could make in a bread maker that stayed fresh longer (between 7-10 days stored in a zip lock bag after fully cooled compared to 3-4 days most other recipes, including my own other bread recipes). A.sandwich bread is fluffier and softer than a standard loaf of bread. It took me several weeks and about 18 loaves of bread changing the recipe slightly each time to perfect this recipe and if you use it or share it please give credit where credit is due. It's sad to see people stealing my recipes as their own creations and it happens often.

This is made in my trusty cheap ($39 brand new when I bought it 13 years ago) oster with express bake bread maker. I have made hundreds of loaves of bread in it over the years and it just keeps going (I don't buy store bought bread or buns. I generally make 1-2 loaves of bread a week and sometimes use it for jams, dough -- pizza dough hotdog buns hamburger buns -- too). I would say its been a great investment and fit perfectly with my frugal lifestyle (when I first started making home made bread, it only cost around 29 cents a loaf ... now this recipe costs 1.05 a loaf depending on the olive oil you use or only 74 cents if you use margarine instead). I've told this story before but when I bought the bread maker, I wanted to buy something cheap and just try it out. When it went bad, I would upgrade it or buy something better quality. If I never used it, I wasn't out a huge investment. Honestly, today I hope it never goes bad because it has been awesome and I have never had problems with it. It makes perfect loaves of bread 99% of the time and the times it doesn't its usually because of my own mistakes or because I am trying some new/custom recipe.

You can still get the version I have on amazon but its uber expensive today ($185 last I looked): amzn.to/423YKCh

Here is an upgraded version/model of what I have that is slightly different but cheaper (still way more than I paid for mine and usually runs around $80): amzn.to/4ic88sv

bread slicer (amazon says often returned for defects, I think the defects are in the people using it lol - same one I have used for 11 years without issues) amzn.to/4lpmoRm and alternate link amzn.to/3R6ToQv

frugal tip for bulk yeast I mention in video that I use: amzn.to/3EqfJpc

bread knife I use if you don't own one: amzn.to/4ckxJOk

There are obviously many other brands of bread makers on the market but since I don't own them, I can't recommend them from first hand experience (I only recommend the things I personally use and never accept ambassador offers to try things for reviewing - that's not the kind of channel I want to be and I'm too honest to do that). But all bread makers should be able to make bread and use any bread recipe, although you may have to modify them slightly.
