Another example of working offline for machine translation and more. The Local AI Translator now has several places supporting Speech input. Here we see entering text to be translated at the main interface, and then also using Chat with AI.
The voices you hear are locally produced too. There's an option to turn the text into audio, i.e. text to speech (TTS) which uses locally downloaded voices. Of course sometimes we prefer to use better-sounding more 'natural' voices, but when you're off the internet, sometimes you compromise.
There are other voices available through some web browsers too, through Web Speech API, and some run locally too, without internet connection. I just wanted to show one more facet of Local AI Translator, going beyond just translating text.
