Lee Sondeno had been serving for many years in Pentecostal music ministry when he began to be intrigued by some of the things he saw in Catholicism, which he had always been skeptical of and held at arm's length.

He decided to pick up the Catechism of the Catholic Church, hoping to find something bizarre or unscriptural in it that would allow him to dismiss his passing curiosity about Catholicism.
