I recently spent two weeks travelling around China, and I honestly wasn’t expecting to notice such a big difference in technology and infrastructure.
It’s a full 60-minute trip overview (No AI), but don’t worry — I’ve included chapters so you don’t have to watch it all in one go
Living and working in the UK, I’m used to a certain standard of transport, public spaces, hotels, and city life. But during this trip, I saw things that genuinely surprised me — from modern transport systems and clean streets to tech markets, food options, and overall convenience.
What stood out even more was how far my budget stretched. Travelling on a tight budget, I found that money goes much further in China compared to the UK. From accommodation to food and experiences, the value was impressive.
In this video, I’ll share some of the highlights from my two-week trip — including infrastructure, transport, tech markets, hotels, and everyday life moments. I’m not here to compare politically or say one place is better than another. Just sharing what I observed.
