Can air conditioning really work in a 1930s UK house? How much does it cost to run, and can solar panels and battery storage keep the bills low?
In this video I show my complete Mitsubishi Heavy Industries air conditioning system installed in my 5-bedroom 1930s semi-detached home. During one of the hottest days of the year, I explain how I cool the house using different zones, how much electricity the system uses, and how my 5kW solar array and Pylontech battery storage help reduce running costs.

⚡ Grid Export: 9.2 kWh
❄️ Air Conditioning: Approximately 24 kWh
🚗 EV Charged Overnight
💷 Net Electricity Cost: Approximately £2.47 using E.on Smart drive Tariff
