Today we get an inside look at the only garage and race shop of NASCAR pioneer Wendell Scott, along with his former Petty Enterprises Dodge box truck! Wendell is a This little block building is where he did all of his NASCAR racing from in the 60s and 70s, along with preparing his locally notorious bootlegging cars. His son Frank Scott was a key crew member in that era and our chief eyewitness storyteller today helping us get a glimpse of what like was like at the Scott family garage back in the day. Wendell was the first black driver to win a NASCAR race, all the way back in 1963!
