This is my piano & cello cover for The Wellerman ("Soon May the Wellerman Come") , the famous New Zealand sea chantey (sea ballad).

I tried to give this cover a slight "March" flavor, with a dominant rhythm played by the lower key pianos, which you can easily imagine being played by a trombone or tuba.

The Wellerman regained popularity a couple of years ago after a cover by Scottish performer Nathan Evans, becoming viral on YouTube and TikTok.

🎹🎻 The DAW I used for recording this MIDI cover is Reaper. As the title suggest, the insturments that partake in this version are Pianos and Cellos. 🎹🎻

This is an orchestral cover of one of my favorite songs from the 80s - Its a Sin, by the Pet Shop Boys.
I wondered what it would sound like if the song was performed by a live orchestra / choir, so I made this cover.
The DAW I used for this orchestral MIDI remake is Reaper. I chose epic-style cinematic instruments such as brass instrument (trumpets, horns), strings (violins, viola, cello, deep strings), clarinets, flutes, choir, and percussion instruments (timpani drums, drums, cymbals) .
