In September 2017 part of the redesigned entry ramp from the West Gate Freeway to CityLink northbound was opened giving drivers a safer and easier run onto the Bolte Bridge.
While regular drivers won’t notice a huge change, truck drivers will notice it has a gentler curve that will help reduce the risk of truck rollovers. free up space and help traffic flow on the M1

This work is part of Webb Dock Access Improvements which will better connect freight from Webb Dock to the freeway network, make it easier and safer for trucks to enter the Bolte Bridge and free up space and help traffic flow on the M1.
