We’ve reached a big milestone on the West Gate Freeway today, with traffic switching onto a new, temporary inbound exit ramp at Williamstown Road.
While the ramp doesn’t really look or operate any different to the old one, it’ll do the very important job of keeping traffic moving while crews build a new, permanent exit ramp.
In case you’re wondering, we need to shift the position of the ramp to make way for a West Gate Tunnel portal crews will build nearby.
