Stonehenge hasn't always looked like it does today.

The world-famous monument was transformed considerably during the 20th century, undergoing more alteration from 1901 than at any time since the Bronze Age.

The romantic ruin of previous generations was altered into the design we're used to.

What would our Neolithic predecessors have thought of this? We actually think that Stonehenge was never fixed or finished, with various phases of reworking and rearrangement.
