In the tropics, we are tracking two areas. The first is Invest AL 97 off the coast of Louisiana. It could develop into a short lived tropical depression or storm today or tonight before it reaches the TX/LA coast. This is heading away from our area and is not a threat. The second area is the remnants of what was Tropical Storm Dolly. It is currently just a trough of low pressure. It will continue to endure a lot of wind shear over the Greater Antilles over the next few days; however, if it can hold together, as it approaches the Bahamas, conditions become a bit more favorable for development. NHC is giving this a low chance over the next 7 days.
