This design debuted in 2021, and I worked as a tech until 2023. During that time, the majority of service calls I ran related to this design were mostly related to customer education on how to correctly use the machine. When I say this design isn't intuitive, that's what I mean.

Regarding the removable agitator being a potential failure point, that's because having an agitator that splits into two parts is inherently less stable than one solid agitator. Additionally, removing the agitator to reveal the "impeller" plate reveals a section that has an open seam and additional small holes, which parts of clothing (i.e., draw strings, sequins, stringy bits, etc.) could potentially get stuck in, especially if the machine is being overloaded because the advertising for it suggested that it could be.

This is all my opinion based on my past experience working as an appliance repair tech and on the additional industry education I've gained since then.
