How to replace dryer venting, now in vertical format for those who prefer it! This is part 2 of 2. Nearly one-third of all dryer firers are caused by failure to clean. You should be cleaning or replacing your vented dryer’s venting annually, and the material you use to vent your dryer MATTERS!
BEST: Rigid (solid) aluminum ; GOOD: Semi-rigid aluminum ; BAD (DO NOT USE): Plastic, PVC, "flex" foil. Keeping up with the maintenance on your dryer vent can not only help to prevent a dryer fire, but it can also increase your dryer's efficiency in getting your laundry dry faster!
