On Saturday, the 7th of July 2012, two horses fell at the same jump in the Kevin Lafferty hurdle at Warrnambool.

Race favorite Kirribilli Gold fell first, then Dhaafer, with Kirribilli Golds jockey, Steve Pateman requiring medical assistance following his fall resulting in him being taken off to a nearby hospital.
