On Wednesday, the 28th of March 2012, the 2012 Victorian Jumps Racing Season began. The first race took place at Sandown racetrack, Victoria, and within 3 minutes the season had its first fall and subsequent fatality - Jotilla.

We believe that this is the year that we can ban jumps racing in Victoria, but we need you help.

He was first put on the racetrack when he was two years old. In his short life, Weekend Lover endured 17 races. An additional 12 trials and jump-outs plus a warning for being fractious at the barriers, are a strong indication that he didn’t cope well with a life in racing and did not consent to putting his life at stake for gambling and entertainment.
