Centre for Independent Studies’ Warren Mundine says the Voice campaign took a “continuous toll” on his mental health.

“It did take a … personal toll on me because some people would know that during that campaign, I got into a suicidal position,” Mr Mundine told Sky News Australia.

“I still wanted to get up every day and fight the battle for Australia, fight the battle for everyone in this country.

“They’re the ones that kept me going.”
