Hello Marion County citizens, I’m your Sheriff, Billy Woods. And yes, it is Wanted by Woods! Today, we are looking for 29-year-old William Dewayne Denton II, who has felony warrants for Grand Theft, and Violation of Probation on Grand Theft and Strong Armed Robbery.
You went to someone’s house, knocked on their door and asked if you could borrow $10 for gas. They invited you into their home and while they went to get you the cash, you stole around a $1000 worth of items from them. They have known you since you were a kid, they trusted you and they were going to help you but you decided to steal from them instead. You need to turn yourself in William.
Citizens, if William does not do the right thing, we are going to need your help locating him. If you have any information on him whereabouts, please do not approach as he has a history of violence however, please call Crime Stoppers of Marion County at 352-368-STOP and reference 18-67 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward!
