Ludington MI Nov 5, 2022. Offshore storm-force winds exceeding 70 mph were suddenly pushed ashore by a strong cold front. Onshore winds immediately hit 60 mph (NWS verified) and flattened the huge waves into a hurricane of mist. I was hiding almost inside my hatchback car pointed into the wind but still I could not stop camera shake so I had to wait a bit for the blast to abate. Still there was camera shake, hence the post-processing artifacts you see, but it gives you a good idea of an angry Lake Michigan.
