I captured only one good image from the new meteor shower early on the morning of May 24, 2014. I noticed a reddish plume appear in the middle of the trail and it persisted some minutes while drifting along the general path of the meteor. This was not sun-lit but rather glowing dust. Each frame comprised 30 seconds so you can see the cloud persisted for a remarkable length of time, especially considering it was spatially dissipating.
