From the most recent run of HO Scale Walthers Proto 53' Gunderson Rebuilt Well Cars. I bought 3 samples and take a close look.
A summary of the video: All the wheels on all 3 samples were in their correct gauge. Couplers were all at or within a couple thousandths of an inch of their correct height. The cars weigh 4 1/2oz without a load, which is 1 1/2oz lighter than the NMRA recommended weight. They all rolled freely.
The detail is lacking on what I would consider a "higher end model." There are no brake hoses, piping, or brake cylinder, and there is no coupler cut lever.
Overall a nice car that will look and run great in a "baretable" empty intermodal train!
