In this Product Review video, I take a close look at the new Bachmann HO Scale 55' Steel Coil Car.
In summary, it did include a steel coil load and the couplers were the correct height. However, the car lacked a lot of detail. The detail it did have was all molded on. It was about 1oz. too light when weighed on the scale. And all four axles were out of gauge.
In my personal opinion, for the price, a car with better detail could be purchased for the same price from a different manufacturer. With that said, to find the silver lining, the lack of separately applied detail means less to damage when handling and moving the car.
