On December 19, 1958, perhaps the most famous episode of Disney’s weekly TV show premiered on ABC: From All of Us to All of You. This is how the original 1958 opening looked – featuring the first design of the “Walt Disney Presents” titles – scanned from a 16mm Eastman print. The 1960 re-run commonly seen online has all the titles changed to the second design – and you can also notice other small differences; the original has no episode title, and the voice-over at the start is slightly different. I’ve also included a few segments that were cut from the program (at least here in Sweden) after Walt’s death, including Walt’s introduction, Jiminy Cricket’s introduction to Santa’s Workshop, and Chip ’n’ Dale’s Christmas preparations. Unfortunately, I only have the first reel (ending with the Bambi segment), so the original closing titles are missing.
