We were in Michigan recently, and the walnut trees were fully ripe and dropping fruit. I had never seen walnuts before outside of the grocery store. The fruit is about the size of a large lime. It’s round. It’s green. And it’s mushy like a papaya. You squeeze the seed out of the middle, wash it dry it, and that’s the part that you crack and eat. I saw another YouTube video that if you put them in a bucket, the ones that float are bad. Anyway I thought this was pretty cool. Hope you enjoy the video!
