This classic lost river walk along the Counters Creek takes us from Kensal Green Cemetery one of the Magnificent Seven London cemeteries, across Wormword Scrubs to the Westway and Notting Hill. We pass through Holland Park and the Olympia Exhibition Centre (stopping for a pint in the Hand and Flower) and then Earls Court and the Prince Pub SW6 and remember the colourful campaign to save Empress Place and the Prince of Wales pub in 2016. The Counters Creek leads us through another of the Magnificent Seven, Brompton Cemetery and then past Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club. The final stretch of the lost river walk crosses Fulham Road, Kings Road and at we see the river above ground as it become Chelsea Creek and makes its confluence with the Thames.
