This London walking tour explores a sacred landscape of the mythology of Ancient London as described in E.O. Gordon's classic book, Prehistoric London its mounds and circles published in 1914. Support this channel on Patreon patreon.com/JohnRogers
Starting at Westminster, the ancient Tothill this sacred alignment takes us to the fantastic stories of Ludgate Hill (St. Paul's Cathedral), then past London Stone to the White Mound, Tower of London. From here we pass through various important sites in the City of London to Merlin's Cane and the Pen Ton Mound at Islington at the top of Pentonville Road. Our summer solstice pilgrimage then goes down Copenhagen Street to the ancient York Way (Maiden Lane) which leads us to the Stone of Free Speech on Parliament Hill.
