A bucolic walk along the Thames Path from Maidenhead in Berkshire to Bourne End, Bucks. This beautiful river ramble takes us through the village of Cookham, famous as the home of painter Stanley Spencer. It also takes us past Cliveden, an estate with many great tales to tell. The walk ends at the Bronze Age burial mounds on Cock Marsh.
The Thames Path is a 185.2 mile walking trail that runs from the source of the Thames in the Cotswolds to the Thames Barrier at Woolwich. This is the latest instalment in a series of videos of walks along the Thames Path. This was a particularly nostalgic walk for me as I spent much of my childhood in this area.
