A short and simple arrangement, condensed a bit and several liberties added to try and make it feel a little more whimsical and fitting for a Pokemon game.
Had the tune stuck in my head and it kinda dawned on me that the natural progression of the song kinda feels like late-game route or town music in the old GB Pokemon games. Sure enough, it began to flow pretty easily as I worked on it- quite possibly the quickest turn-around time of any cover or arrangement I've ever done.
I also realize the actual song has some somber deeper meanings- this isn't meant to make light of the meanings of the song itself, just meant to be a fun little exercise in repurposing songs and melodies.
