All the while, he’s been on the kidney transplant waitlist.
Patients can be on the list for a long time, but if they’re lucky, they will eventually get a call.
Tom is currently near the top of the list and he is waiting and hoping for that call soon.
The Scarborough Health Network has sponsored the creation of over a hundred educational videos for type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease.
