A lot changes in a year and whisky's no different.
Last year's Cask Strength vPub was prompted by the new release form Bunnahabhain; their 12yo Cask Strength. I took the opportunity to run through how these releases have come to be, how they benefit us and what my picks would be. We covered SMWS, Arran, Spey, Laphroaig, Highland Park and more. Alongside that Bunna 12, of course.
This year, I feel like we've been spoiled. I had my eye on a Northern Highlander just as a surprise Western Highlander dropped, alongside another surprise Southern Highlander and peat-bomb Islay to join that Bunna 12CS. So October was a busy wee month of hunting and collecting, all for what though? Well, to share my thoughts on them with you and ponder why we're being spoiled. It's not a complaint!
