This is the stand up steel roller coaster from B&M called Vortex at Carowinds park near Charlotte, NC. It is also the third oldest opperating roller coaster from B&M. The first one, also a stand up steel coaster called Vortex, opened a year earlier than this one at California's Great America, then came Batman: The Ride at Six Flags Great America (the worlds first Inverted coaster), then this one. It opened here on March 14, 1992 and has a track length of 2,040ft, height of 90ft, a loop and corkscrew, a top speed of about 50mph, and a ride duration of about 2 min 19 sec.
