This was a long one, just building the volume circuit didn't feel like a fully rounded video so I've included developing some test code and getting that working. There is a chunk of coding in the middle, it's always tough to try and edit coding (which isn't much of a spectator sport) down to something short that still holds the outline of what you are doing.
