This is a playthrough of single player mode using a glitched version of Brider in the Arcade version of Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer. Read on below for more information...

'Glitch Brider' is found in the code/data of the game. It is not meant to appear in normal instances, meaning that it is an unused and non-selectable character.

NOTE: Continues used, but cut out of the video to save time and lower video size.

===== ABOUT 'GLITCH BRIDER' =====

This glitched version of Brider, besides some aesthetics, operates exactly like the normal Brider. It is unknown on why this character is in the code/data but it may be possibly linked to the fact that normal Brider has a special move where a clone of him appears for it. Is 'Glitch Brider' the clone?

- On the character select screen, he has a glitched image portrait where it shows a panel graphic.

- On the character select screen, his gameplay sprite appears in the wrong area to the right. The interesting thing here is that, as he stands close to the opponent, he can actually hit the opponent and be hit himself on the character select screen!

- On the character select screen, when you confirm him he uses a female voice.

- On the versus screen, the music stops (due to him having no announcer-name) and his sprites appears initially in the wrong area.

- His gameplay sprites has him with glitched colour palettes, both of them. You can see the other glitched palette starting around 22:15 in the video.

- In the gameplay screen, his lifebar icon is a glitched graphic.

- If you beat single-player with him, he has normal Brider's ending.

As his gameplay operates exactly like normal Brider, here are his moves. You can use these for normal Brider as well.

THROWS
- Shoulder Throw: when close, F + HP or B + HP
- Flip Throw: when close, F + HK
- Air Shoulder Throw: during jump with opponent in air close, DB/D/DF + HP
- Air Flip: during jump with opponent in air close, DB/D/DF + HK

COMMAND NORMALS
- Shoulder Ram: Dash Forward, P or K
- Uppercut: when close, D + HP
- Crouching Elbow: DF + HP
- Roundhouse: when far, B + HK
- Axe Kick: when close, B + HK
- Triple Kick: F + HK
- Slide: DF + HK

SPECIAL MOVES
- Brider Hurricane: DP + P
- Lightning B. Punch: QCB, UB + P
- Brider Manji Kick: QCF, UF + K
- Brider A. Assault: during jump, QCB, UB + K
- Double Brider Kick: QCF, QCF + LK + HK (copy'able Move)
- *D. Brider High Kick: QCF, QCF + HP + HK (*if Brider copies Brider's move)

DESPERATION MOVE (requires flashing lifebar)
- Brider Bike: QCF, QCB, UB + LK + HP

===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====

- Brider's real name is Ikki Tachibana.

- Ohga is the only character in the game to not have any of his special moves available to be copied/used by other characters.

- The game is known as Choujin Gakuen Gowcaizer in Japan.

- It features distinct character artwork and designs from Masami Obari. He is also the voice actor for the character Brider in the game, and is also the director of the anime (OVA).

===== ABOUT VOLTAGE FIGHTER GOWCAIZER =====

This is basically a Japanese "anime" take on a "superhero" fighting game, with a bit of 'Tokusatsu' thrown in regarding the character Brider. It is a standard old-school Neo-Geo 2D versus fighting game, but with the unique feature of characters being able to copy/take other character's specific special moves and use them.

Over the years, the game is known to be discovered through 'curious interest' upon seeing the two female characters Shaia and Karin in other media (such as MUGEN).
