This is a playthrough using Siegfried! in the PS1 version of Soul Edge (Japanese version). Read on below for more information...
Siegfried! is an unlockable playable hidden character.
===== HOW TO UNLOCK SIEGFRIED! =====
Using regular Siegfried, play through Edge Master mode and attain all 8 of his weapons. After you have done this, on the character select screen, on the row, Siegfried! will be off the screen to the left/right.
He is not available in Edge Master mode.
===== WHO IS SIEGFRIED! =====
This is the alternative version of Siegfried with his "evil" armor and wielding the Soul Edge sword, from his bad ending.
This character design/concept would later evolve into the character Nightmare of the future games.
===== SIEGFRIED! TECHNICAL INFORMATION =====
- On the character select screen, his large portrait is the generic hidden character '?' image.
- His icon is the generic hidden character '?' image.
- His VS screen icon is the generic hidden character '?' image.
- If you beat the game with him, he has no ending. It goes straight to the credits.
- He cannot appear in the name entry screen nor can he appear in any rankings tables.
- He only has the one costume and colour palette we see in the video. Therefore if both sides play as Siegfried!, they will be aesthetically identical.
- He does not have any extra weapons.
- He cannot be fought against as a CPU opponent.
- If you select him in Edge Master mode, it will freeze the game, which you see starting around 20:00 in the video.
- In Edge Master mode, on the character select screen, his 'weapon' name on the list is glitched. You can see this starting around 20:00 in the video.
===== SIEGFRIED! TRIVIA =====
- In regular Siegfried's Edge Master mode ending, there is artwork that shows Siegfried! wielding Cervantes' Soul Edge swords rather than his own version of the sword. This is also seen in the Arcade version of his ending.
- There is/was fan rumours that he was one of Ken Masters (from Street Fighter) forefathers, due to Siegfried's adept ability to perform fast spin kicks with heavy armor on.

===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====
- In the USA and Europe, the game was renamed as Soul Blade due to copyright issues over the use of the word "Edge".
- In the USA and European versions of the game, slight parts of the intro was edited/changed slightly.
- In the European version of the game, Li Long's weapon was changed.
===== ABOUT PS1 SOUL EDGE/BLADE =====
The PS1 version of the game is one of the all-time greats on the console, and is one of the best 'conversion/port of an arcade game' for it's time. Aside from the loading times (which are very short anyway) it's virtually arcade perfect. It helped that the arcade original ran on hardware that was already based on the PS1 hardware.
The PS1 version has tons of features that are not found in the arcade original. For example, the port has 2 extra remixed soundtracks, new character costumes, new weapons, cinematic endings for the characters, the superb Edge Master Mode and more.

![Fatal Fury 3 [Arcade] - play as Jin Chonshu
This is a playthrough using Jin Chonshu in the Arcade version of Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory. Read on below for more information...
Jin Chonshu is the main boss of the game. He is a non-selectable character in the Neo-Geo MVS version of it.
JIN CHONSHU STORY
He is the younger twin brother of Jin Chonrei. Their father told them that one of their ancient ancestors was Qin Wang Long, who was a celebrated General of the founder and ruler of the Qin dynasty, Qin Shi Huang. Their father convinced them that they had the same blood as Long, and soon passed away. The brothers were then left to fend for and support themselves and live up to the family name. When they were fourteen, an attack from bullies left them in a bad state on the streets. Once they lost consciousness, two spirits of their 2200-year-old ancestors possessed their bodies.
The spirit that possessed Chonshu was known as Qin Hai Long, making the boy into a fearsome fighter in combat. The spirit that possessed Chonrei was Qin Kong Long who was Hai Longs older brother. Kong Long and Hai Long were the sons of Wang Long, who wrote the Jin scrolls during the Qin Dynasty. The brothers now seek to gather all three scrolls, which they believe will resurrect them in immortal bodies and allow them to conquer the world.
FIGHTING STYLE
His fighting style is named Teiou Ken/Diwang Quan, also known as Sovereign Fist, which consist of moves that resemble Kung Fu.
DESIGN
According to an issue of Neo Geo Freak, his brother Chonrei was originally designed to be a person with split-personalities - a masculine and feminine side. However, the designers favored both sides equally so they abandoned this concept and created a twin brother (Chonshu) to have the feminine side.
ABOUT JIN CHONSHU
Gameplay-wise, he is basically the weaker version of Chonrei... its kind of like the Akuma and Shin Akuma situation. Or if you know your fighting games, even more accurately its like the situation between Abel and Veil from Toshinden 3.
Chonreis Life Absorb special move is Chonshus super move. Chonshu does have a better version of the Life Absorb move as his hidden super move though. Chonshu does not have the Projectile Reflector or the Spark Fireball that Chonrei has. Chonshus fireball also comes out slower and recovers slower.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
On the character select screen, his portrait/icon position is at the bottom right. Obviously as an non-selectable character, you wont see this and the position is not normally accessible.
When playing as him in a 1P game, you do not get the Yamazaki accident fight midway through the route.
When playing as him in a 1p game, you do not get any pre-fight cutscenes, such as the ones with Yamazaki and Chonshu at the end.
If you beat the game with him, he does not have an ending.
Despite being a non-selectable character, he actually has an alternate colour palette.
Despite being a non-selectable character, he operates perfectly on the Continue screen and can appear on the name entry screen.
He has some boss properties. Such examples being that he doesnt have any jumping punches; his Elbow Charge Throw special move being fast and overpowered; and some punches that hit twice.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
He is essentially a headswap character of Chonrei.
The game is known as Garou Densetsu 3: Haruka-naru Tatakai in Japan.
