Description:
Today I’m testing the Volkswagen e-Caravelle on the Autobahn at a constant 110 km/h (GPS).
This electric transporter is designed for companies, construction sites, and shuttle services, not long-distance driving — but how much real range can you expect in winter?
This test follows my 130 km/h run and focuses on a more realistic use case for this vehicle.
Vehicle & test setup:
64 kWh battery (new models now come with 71 kWh)
Heat pump
18" winter tires (215/60)
4–5 °C, foggy winter conditions
Heating set to 22–23 °C
Constant 110 km/h GPS speed
