Vocolinc Pureflow Air Purifier

The Vocolinc Pureflow Air Purifier is one of the first Homekit Certified Purifiers that I've been able to get my hands on. This is the latest addition in the Vocolinc Smarthome line of accessories and is the second device that deals specifically with air treatment ( the Vocolinc Flowerbud diffuser being the first ).
In addition to the HEPA purifier, the Vocolinc Pureflow includes temperature, humidity, and particulate matter 2.5 sensors which can be used by the unit in it's auto mode to clean the air as necessary. They are also all exposed to Apple Homekit so you can use them as triggers for any of your other automations as needed.
Pros:
- integrated sensors
- night mode turns of screen and keeps sound around the 30dB mark so it's great for your sleep spaces.
Cons:
- the night mode isn't exposed as an automation in the apple home or vocalinc apps
- the Pureflow doesn't include a VoC ( volatile organic compound ) sensor which would have definitely pushed this over the top for me.
Conclusion:
The Vocolinc Pureflow is a really good product and will likely become better as updates to the units firmware and the vocolinc app file down some of the rough edges ( the night mode scheduling specifically is one I'd love to see fixed soon )./.
Although the VoC sensor is a bit of an oversight, the ability to use Apple Homekit automations to trigger the Pureflow from a Homekit compatible VoC sensor such as the Eve Room (gen2) or the Kaiterra Laser Egg + VoC device make it possible for anyone with a little time and knowledge to fill in the gaps by using their existing products.
