This is the 3rd video in a 3 part series. The intended audience are practitioners and inspectors that are responsible for maintaining retroreflective pavement markings. The purpose of this video is to explain and demonstrate the Visual Inspections Methods included in the report, “Methods for Maintaining Pavement Marking Retroreflectivity, FHWA-SA-22-028.” Topics include instructions for visually inspecting the retroreflectivity of pavement markings, equipment needs, training, traffic control, and additional considerations and steps they will need to take before and after the actual inspection process. This video is meant to accompany the Methods Report, not to substitute for it.
