(English below) Gameplay completo del primer episodio de Vinyl Goddess from Mars, juego de plataformas para MS-DOS lanzado en 1995 desarrollado por Six Pound Sledge Studios, considerado el sucesor espiritual de Jill of the Jungle.
Se me ocurrió probar este juego a ver qué tal, nunca lo había jugado (salvo los 3 primeros niveles antes de grabar el vídeo), y ha resultado ser un juego de plataformas bastante bueno. Bonito gráficamente, con un control decente, buen diseño de niveles, genial música... No es que tenga nada que no se haya visto en cientos de plataformas de la época, pero es bastante divertido.
Lo juego en DOSBox Staging, en donde el juego funciona muy fluido si tienes una pantalla con VRR, es algo que no se aprecia en el vídeo porque los juegos de MS-DOS iban en su mayoría a 70hz y Youtube no permite vídeos de más de 60 fps (que yo sepa). Por cierto, recomiendo configurar los controles del juego con un mando con la función mapper que se configura con CTRL+F1, así se juega mucho mejor.

Full gameplay of the first episode of Vinyl Goddess from Mars, a platform game for MS-DOS released in 1995 developed by Six Pound Sledge Studios, considered the spiritual successor of Jill of the Jungle.
I thought I'd give this game a try, I'd never played it before (except for the first 3 levels before record the video), and it turned out to be a pretty good platformer. Nice graphics, decent controls, good level design, cool music... Not that it has anything that hasn't been seen in hundreds of platformers of the time, but it's pretty fun.
I play it in DOSBox Staging, where the game runs very smooth if you have a VRR enabled screen, it's something you can't see in the video because MS-DOS games were mostly running at 70hz and Youtube doesn't allow videos over 60 fps (as far as I know). By the way, I recommend configuring the controls of the game with a gamepad with the mapper function that is configured with CTRL+F1, so it plays much better.
