(English below) Gameplay de Command & Conquer, el mítico juego de estrategia de Westwood Studios lanzado en 1995 que inauguró una de las mejores sagas de estrategia de la historia, actualmente muerta y enterrada por culpa de Electronic Arts. Jugablemente, este juego era sucesor espiritual de Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty, uno de los primeros juegos de estrategia en tiempo real.
Se me ocurrió enseñar en este vídeo toda la experiencia de lo que era instalar el juego y jugar las primeras misiones de la campaña del GDI, transportándonos a mediados de los 90. Esto es posible en un PC moderno gracias a un Windows 95 emulado en PCem (y supongo que con una máquina virtual).
El juego salió originalmente para MS-DOS, pero poco después sacaron esta versión para el nuevo y flamante sistema operativo de Microsoft, el Windows 95, y que contaba con multijugador y gráficos en alta resolución (para la época).
Que me perdonen los fans de este si no estoy jugando bien, en realidad esta es la primera vez que juego a este juego. Hace como 25 años jugué y terminé su sucesor y spin-off, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, y posteriormente he jugado a algunos de los más modernos (por ejemplo, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, sin llegar a terminarlo), pero a este primero nunca, y hace mucho que no toco esta saga.
Si quieres jugarlo, te recomendaría más jugar al remaster que sacaron hace unos años, que actualizó gráficos y jugabilidad tanto de este como de Red Alert, y del que quizás suba un gameplay, esa vez será de la campaña del NOD.

Gameplay of Command & Conquer, the remembered classic Westwood Studios strategy game released in 1995 that inaugurated one of the most beloved strategy series in history, now dead and buried because of Electronic Arts. In its gameplay, this game was the spiritual successor of Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty, one of the first real time strategy games.
It occurred to me to show in this video the whole experience of what it was like to install the game and play the first missions of the GDI campaign, transporting us to the mid-90s. This is possible on a modern PC thanks to a Windows 95 emulated in PCem (and with a virtual machine, I guess).
The game originally came out for MS-DOS, but soon after they released this version for Microsoft's brand new operating system, Windows 95, which featured multiplayer and high resolution graphics (for the time).
May fans of this one forgive me if I'm not playing it right, this is actually the first time I play this game. About 25 years ago I played and finished its successor and spin-off, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, and subsequently I have played some of the more modern ones (for example, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, without finishing it), but never this one, and I haven't played this saga for a long time.
If you want to play it, I would recommend you to play the remaster they released a few years ago, which updated graphics and gameplay of both this and Red Alert, and maybe I'll upload a gameplay of that, this time it will be of the NOD campaign.
