The spindle end-play bolt has been stuck since I bought the machine, this allows any lateral movement to be taken up and allows for wear also. The problem is that I could not get any movement out of this bolt because I didn't have the right tools for the job. In this video I attempt to make a Spanner wrench and if you watch the video, you can see if this was a success or a fail.
For reference, if you are planning on using steel from clamps, be prepared to forge a tough alloy material, one of the hardest materials I have worked with so far.
