Does your printer perform too well? Are you sick and tired of every single 3d print being a success? In this video, we'll try to see if we can introduce some 'sweet' vibrations into the prints by raising the printer up on stilts and 'Kabobbing' it.

The truth is that this video is about seeing what kinds of results we get when we modify the printer. In this case, we're trying to find out what happens if we lift the printer up. Does the print quality suffer, are there other issues?

I have to say that after spending quite a bit of time thinking of how I could make the print quality worse, I believed that I had come up with the best way to accomplish it. It didn't go quite as I had planned.

The end goal of this video is to decide which direction makes the most sense for adding parts onto this printer, should I make something stand-alone, or re-use the structure of the existing printer, the testing performed in this video gave a clear answer and now I know how to move ahead. I'd like to design something that provides a lot more storage, that will be attached to the printer solidly, which can be easily accessed and would have plenty of space for every tool you can think of to maintain your printer and to clean your prints... though that's not really something that you need often with this printer.
