The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has received responses from Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff over their appearance in a Vimal Elaichi advertisement. Shah Rukh Khan’s response is still awaited.
The FDA had issued show-cause notices to all three actors, questioning whether the advertisement could amount to surrogate or indirect promotion of Vimal Pan Masala, which is prohibited in Maharashtra. The regulator is now examining the responses before deciding on further action.
